"We in America do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate." - Thomas Jefferson

The Maine Optometric Association has a long history of legislative success, primarily due to the hard work and diligence of the many MOA members who volunteer their time and money to legislative efforts. Without member contributions, optometrists in Maine would not enjoy the wide scope of practice that our Optometric Practice Act provides. Just by being a MOA member, you are showing our legislators that our Association is strong and unified in promoting the best interests of our patients and our profession.
