Saturday/ Sunday, February 7^th, 8^th  Keeping Our Eyes on the Prize (and the Ball!)! Forward Focus Pickle Ball Tournament for the Fun of it! 

We are excited to announce that the Maine Optometric Association will host a Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser at The Wicked Pickle in South Portland, Maine. This event will help raise funds to support the Forward Focus campaign and raise awareness of the importance of Eye Health and the future of Optometry in Maine.

March 15^th-17^th, 2026. Please join us in D.C.

AOA on Capitol Hill- Maine will send Optometrists to Washintgon D.C. to join hundreds of other doctors of optometry and students of optometry to advocate for national issues like Doc Access Act, Vision Lab Act and VBMs, addressing Medicare pay rates and Medicare Advantage, and timely and pay fairness. 

Thursday March 26^th, 7-9 pm 2hrs Virtual CE – TBD  

• SPRING CE PASS - OFFERING ONLINE VIRTUAL CE  Starting in APRIL 2026 and running through the Spring are virtual CE.  Sponsor CE PASS holders and reach all those tuning in virtually!  
• June 5th-7th MOA Kick off the Summer Conference, Harborside Resort, Bar Harbor- this is a popular event that draws LOCAL NEW ENGLAND & MAINE ODs as well as from around the country.

• FALL SCHOOL IS IN SESSION CE -Virtual -

Fall CE, and CE Pass holders for Members and beyond        

• December 4^th-6^th Annual Meeting and CE Conference – Sheraton Sable Oaks This is our Annual Meeting and includes Paraoptometrics Education on Saturday.  Welcome Reception Friday night, Celebration on Saturday both have opportunities for sponsorship!  Celebrating 125^th Anniversary!

** Special opportunities to support Optometry Celebration on Saturday night 

We will be scheduling Membership outings and Young OD gatherings throughout the year.  Contact the office to sponsor any of these opportunities.
