Town Hall Type Meeting

On March 29th, via ZOOM Jessilin Quint, OD the MOA board President, held a town hall style meeting to discuss the changes in the Maine Optometry Law changes- Bill LD1956 that was passed through both houses and signed by the governor. Dr. Quint emphasized the importance of keeping the membership informed about the happenings in Maine’s optometry work and expressed her hope to hold more town hall meetings in the future.

The conversation was not limited to the new changes in the law, but also opened to discuss the state of practices throughout Maine and how the MOA may assist. It was an informative and engaging event for all that attended.
